The non-profit organization „People in Need“ which receives financial support for the Czech government is focused on lowering the social and economic consequences of HIV/AIDS in the Karas region of Southern Namibia.
Employees of the organization focus on * social work, psychological and economical support for families effected by HIV/AIDS and TBC *. They help foster-families, which are care for orphaned children who have lost their parents to these dieases. These families receive their money from the Namibia government. „People in Need“ also teach volunteers to care for disease stricken people and prepare and excute educational campaigns which use games and lectures about HIV/AIDS for children which grow-up on the street.
