Donations "Real Help"

„People in Need“ is launching a long-term donation drive called „Real Help, which will allow more effective assistance to reach the people in poorer countries around the world. Proceeds from the donations will go to building new schools and hospitals, drilling wells in dry areas or to supporting small plot farmers to be able to provide for themselves.
„People in Need“ responds to this crisis situation in the developing world. * Poverty and its relative problems kill more people per year than natural disasters and war put together *. The current global inflation of food prices, low literacy, prolonged drought, and the HIV/AIDS pandemic are causing the poverity situation to constantly grow worse. „People in Need“ already helps with these long-term problems and is aiming to eliminate them.
A Media campaign linked to the donations from “Real Help“ will highlight this critical situations in developing countries and will seek to motivate new donors. With this aid „People in Need“ is in a position to give more effective help to those who are in the most need.
„People in Need“ has been helping for 16 years already and is one of the most respected humanitarian organisations in the Czech Republic. At present, it is developing projects in the 13 countries around the world.
